Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

Prompt Response:  When I was going to black canyon national park, I felt a very acute connection to nature. The expansiveness of the landmark really put into perspective how we as humans, no matter how much we want to think, are really a small part of the bigger picture. This was really my first experience so far detached from the city, and the experience is something I think about frequently.

Summary: We took notes on Native American literature and culture, and different types of narrative devices (myths, legends, religions, etc)

Reflection: I learned about prevalent themes in folklore.
