Prompt: Write about something that you believed as a child.

Image
Prompt Response:  In the more fledgling years of the internet, when parents didn't monitor internet access as heavily. There were forums on websites like 4chan and Reddit that told, in hindsight, very poorly written horror spoofs. As a child, I heard of a character named "Jeff the Killer" who was meant to be a guy who came to children's houses while they slept. This, of course, as a 5-6 year old child ,was truly the most horrifying thing on the face of the earth, and I thought Jeff was going to get me and didn't sleep for days and days after. I will provide a picture at the end of my blog to add context to the story. Summary: We did vocab and learned a little more about arguments. Reflection:   I really liked writing this blog post. It brought back fun memories. This is the image I saw as a child that to me was so horrifying in hindsight, not all that scary when you realize this took like 4 minutes in MS Paint,
