Words shape how we think, write, and interpret literature. Think about a time when learning a new word or understanding a specific term helped you better analyze a text, express an idea, or make your writing stronger.

 Prompt: A time when learning new words helped with my reading comprehension was when  I was reading Blood Meridian. The old-timey language was hard to read, but after looking up terms and items, it became a lot easier to understand, and I ended up being able to enjoy the book. 

Summary: We did vocabulary, and Mr. Reese showed AI videos of himself as a vampire. 

Reflection: I don't like AI, so I found the video less funny.
