Prompt: In “We Real Cool,” the speakers make choices that seem exciting, bold, and rebellious, even though those choices lead to consequences. Write about a moment in your own life when you followed what looked cool or fun, only to realize afterwards that it wasn’t the smart or responsible path. What influenced your decision, and how did your perspective change later?/

Prompt: One time, when I was walking with my family and we needed to cross the street. I insisted that we go to the crossing, but unfortunately, in my biggest moment of weakness, I jaywalked. I deeply regret this action sometimes; I even wake up in a cold sweat from having a nightmare about that day. It was reckless and horribly stupid.

Summary: We worked on a poem called "We Real Cool" and made a graph relating to it.

Reflection: I enjoyed the open conversation topics and had a good time with the graph.
